St. Anthony Preschool's philosophy is based on the belief that children need time to experience their childhood through exploration and discovery. St. Anthony Preschool strives to provide a warm, supportive, and developmentally appropriate environment that will maximize this exploration and discovery. Children process knowledge by using their whole self to gather information; therefore, the more involved the experience, the greater the potential for learning. Play is an important part of the learning process. Play is powerful and child centered. Play is learning for the young child.
Each child needs a complete change of clothes that will stay in school. All belongings must be labeled.
Children should bring a nutritious snack (fruit, vegetables, popcorn, crackers, juice, water) daily.
Hot lunch is available for full day children. The cost is $2.00. Milk is also available for $0.50.
If your child is absent, a parent note should be sent in upon his/her return. Any child absent for five consecutive days is required to have a doctor's note in order to return to school. Please contact me if you have any questions: obrien@saseverett.com
