Welcome to Grade 3!

This year our classroom goals will be:
Encourage the children to take pride in their individual work.
Build self-esteem.
Respect themselves as well as others.
To facilitate character building.

Our learning goals are:
To develop good listening and critical thinking skills
To follow directions
To develop proper work habits
To take pride in a job well done

Children need to be responsible for their actions and behavior. Homework will be assigned every Monday through Thursday and should be returned the next day, unless otherwise instructed. If the homework isn't returned, points will be deducted from the final grade. Test papers will go home on Friday and must be signed, corrected, and returned to school by the following Tuesday. It is very important that the children read at home and practice their math facts on a daily basis for a minimum of 15 minutes each day.
