Welcome to “Grade Two”. My goal is to have your child enjoy coming to school while becoming a more independent and responsible student. Students will also learn the importance of being kind and caring members of our classroom as well as our SAS community.
Here are a few helpful hints.
·Please refer to the handbook to make sure that your child is in the correct uniform.
·Students may bring in one snack; try to make it a healthy one.
·Don’t forget to send in lunch money if your child wishes to purchase lunch.
·Treats may be sent in for birthdays if you wish.
·Attendance at Mass each weekend is strongly encouraged.
·Please inform me of any issues or concerns that you may have right away. Leave a message or send in a note, and I will get back to you in a timely manner.
WHAT’S HAPPENING!!
Right now, we are focusing on preparing for First Penance and Reconciliation. We have learned The Act of Contrition and how to examine our conscience. We are all a little nervous but very excited to receive this sacrament.
In December, we were invited to decorate the St. Anthony School tree that the city put up in front of the Parlin Library. It was the first time that the city did this and it was great to be included with all the other schools in the city.Mayor DeMaria as well as other city workers were there to lend a hand.We had a wonderful time.Check out our pictures from this special event.
