Grade 4 Reading and Supply Lists
Students will read 2 books for their summer reading:
“Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing”, by Judy Blume
“Double Fudge”, by Judy Blume
After you have read “Double Fudge”, write a summary of the book (7-9 sentences). Then, write a brief paragraph (3-5 sentences) on your favorite part of the book. Make sure you explain why it is your favorite part. Also, be sure to include your name and the title of the book. In addition, students will be quizzed on “Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing” when they return to school in September. The score of their quiz will go towards their reading comprehension grade.

· 4 large glue sticks
· 1 St. Anthony’s homework notebook
· 8 single subject notebooks
· 100 index cards (3x5)
· 4 folders (2 pocket)
· 1 box of 24 colored pencils (no more than 24)
· 4 dry erase markers (any color)
· 1 ruler
· 1 pair of scissors (Fiskar)
· 2 highlighters
· 4 red pens
· 1 soft zippered pencil case
· 5 large cloth book covers
· 2 tissue boxes
· 2 rolls of paper towels
· 1 box of baby wipes
· Clorox wipes
· 1 bottle of Fantastik or Windex
